I believe that this was a limited edition kit. I think that it is DD1018 or DD1019, they show a version in the modelers pictures but not in the available kits.

I tried that with a small circle of N-scale track I used for testing engines and found the same problem with the caulk that I used. Evert (thebig61) uses something called 'Squeeze & Caulk' which is a arcrylic latex base product. Would like to try it but so far .. not stocked at my local Lowes.

Aligning the walls is one of my biggest buggaloos. I am seriously thinking I will pick up a couple of Machinist 1,2,3 Blocks to help with that.

I have been working (trying) to make some small small items in HO .. I would LOVE to have an extra $7k to buy my own personal laser cutter .. I really like the Zing 16.

Looking forward to your further adventures .. :)

This kit went together fairly well. The only difficult part was in putting together the brick stack. This was fairly difficult and required the use of blue painters tape to hold the structure together. Other than that all of the pieces fit together with only minimal adjustments needed.

I was reading a discussion on Walthers buildings and how well they went together. Did you have any problems with this?

I was given mine, however I had planned upon purchasing one before then anyways. I found that this tool comes out at the start of most of my structure kits, mainly because it is so easy to use. It is one of those tools that is so simple that the only thing that comes to mind is "why didn't I think of that"

To answer your question; yes I still like this product, and if you do a lot of structure kits I think that it is a must-have.

That's an excellent idea. I have a couple sheets of that 12"x12" cork sold for hanging on the wall. Thinking .. a couple of those glued to a piece of wood make for a nice layout board. Thanks for the hint. :)
